I was just planning to remove the doors & trunk lid, plus clear out all the spare parts & takeoffs from the garage, since I have to vacate it in a month or so.
But, my friend, my Project Car Sherpa if you will, came over to help and we made Massive Progress. It’s nearly ready to be paint stripped, and by the end of Monday it should be!
We got so much done! I got incredibly dirty! David Tracy Dirty even.
Fuel tank = removed:
Leaf Springs = Disconnected:
Rear Axle & Wheels = Removed:
Engine & Subframe = Removed:
Cabin attached to rolling frame:
Could I actually finish this thing this summer? Cross your fingers!

Sweet! I’m ordering the disc brake kit Friday for ours. Like I said at OppoMeet, I’ve had it with the front drums and only left them on this long because I never personally had the money to make the decision myself.

When my friend was underneath he said I should just do the disc brake conversion. I had been thinking about it, and when he pointed out the front rotors don’t match - well yeah, might as well spring for disc replacements. I have the time & money at the moment.
